This was an amazing experience. Feeding the reindeer and learning all about these gorgeous animals was very special. Daniel was so knowledgeable and gave us a personal experience that we will never forget. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time feeding the reindeer and learning about the Sami culture through song, folktales, and personal stories. We had tea by the fire in a traditional lavvo with some reindeer friends who were great company! A truly unforgettable day, that I recommend everyone to do when visiting this area.

Sami History & Culture
In the far north of Europe, ancient sounds, unique craftwork traditions, and a particular language live side by side with modern technology. The Sami culture is the oldest culture in large areas of Northern Norway and is currently experiencing a strong renaissance.

The Sami culture is the oldest culture in large areas of Northern Norway and is currently experiencing a strong renaissance. The Sami people live in four countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia. The total population in these four countries is estimated at approx. 80,000, of whom around half live in Norway.

Our philosophy is to use land and water without changing anything in the landscape, and to pass it on to the next generation in the same condition as we took over the areas.

But, if you are still passionate about meeting the reindeer, and learning about Sami culture and history, we can offer reindeer safaris out in the wilderness.
This is a private trip, so the price range is somewhat higher than in season, but the experience is all the better.
It requires a certain level of physical fitness, and the right type of clothing and footwear.
